Our non needle pain clinic is one of only a small number of clinics nationwide authorized to offer this effective herbal based therapy.

Location: Our pain clinic, located within Atlantic Acupuncture, offers an exclusive herbal therapy program utilizing a proprietary formula that contains eight extraordinary plants renowned for their ability to successfully alleviate circulatory issues, eliminate pain and stagnation, and return the patient to an improved state of health.

Facts: Poor Blood Circulation, Blood stasis (Chinese: 血瘀), or blood stagnation, is an important underlying pathology of many disease processes according to traditional Chinese medicine. Circulation therapy is a natural therapy and has the reputation of “green therapy” and has been commonly practiced in China for several thousand years to promote circulation, relieve pain, and optimize health.

How it works: Clients immerse their feet in medicinal herbs for 30 minutes, steam being generated from the herbal medicine will permeate the whole body and into the nose achieving specific health purposes consistent with the herbs used. herbal medicine directly acts on blood vessels of the feet, which immediately circulate throughout the entire body, advancing blood circulation, dredging meridians, reconciling Qi and blood, expelling toxins, removing blood stasis, cleaning skin and beautifying the appearance, etc.

While the soaks are quite relaxing and enjoyable and have many health benefits, they are not a Spa treatment (even though it may feel like it). They are not in any way related to the ionic foot detoxes that are being marketed as ‘the next great thing’ and they are not simply essential oils in a tub of water.

Benefits: Patients report increased circulation, alleviating numbness, fatigue, cold hands and feet, swelling in the lower extremities, erectile dysfunction, most varieties of chronic pain, muscle cramps, and poor focus/concentration. The herbal formula also supports a strengthened immune system, decreased high blood pressure, and overall feeling of wellness.

Keeping a schedule:  Circulation therapy is cumulative. For chronic conditions it is important to maintain a regular schedule and follow your treatment plan.

Success: Our natural pain clinic has had continual success implementing circulation therapy for the following conditions: (NOT A COMPREHENSIVE LI
